Information on the design and construction of so-called "green" buildings is increasingly coming to news tapes of various publications in all corners of the Earth. Alas, in Russia the situation is not so joyful yet, but I believe this is temporary.

We remind you that by "green" we mean such buildings and structures that in many ways (or completely) use renewable energy sources - solar, wind, wave, tidal, thermal. In addition, the "green" houses practically do not throw carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, and the waste of life is fully utilized.

Recently received information from Canada. Architects Joanne Parent, Anik Shooner and Jean-Pierre Letourneux designed the building, which will be the most "green" in Canada.

On the assurances of the developers, they made every effort to design the residential house was the most "green", comfortable and friendly to residents, not only in Canada, but in the world. No more and no less!

The construction of the structure uses the latest achievements of high technologies: heat accumulators (geothermal energy sources are actively used) for heating the building and hot water supply. The air in the premises will be cleaned with a whole garden of living plants. Of course, all household waste will also be completely disposed of.

The house is designed "on a turn-key basis" - many companies-manufacturers of engineering structures, furniture, flooring and so on will take part in creating the environment.

The total area of the building to be built in Montreal - 5 700 square meters, the cost of the project - 28.5 million. Construction is expected to finish in 2010. Reports the magazine "Interior Design".
